RST Maintenance LP – 100% Owned by Misty Ventures Inc.

RST Maintenance Inc. was purchased by Misty Ventures Inc. in September of 2022, however the company has been providing services to Saskatoon and its surrounding areas for more than 13 years.

The maintenance service company offers a comprehensive array of year-round services designed to address all property maintenance requirements. With a diverse fleet of equipment and skilled operators, RST Maintenance LP simplifies property management for both owners and managers by offering a broad range of seasonal services.

Winter Services focus on snow removal, sidewalk clearing and de-icing, parking lot plowing and sanding services.

Spring, Summer and Fall services focus on parking lot sweeping, line painting to yard and lawn care, and fence building with a goal of growing annual capacity.

Employment

As an Indigenous employer RST Maintenance LP is committed to creating annual opportunities with on-the-job training to meet our customers needs. We have successfully increased our Indigenous employment to over 40% since being acquired by Misty Ventures. In just over two years, the company has grown from 2 full-time and 6 part-time employees to 8 full-time and 6 part-time employees. With a benefits plan in place, RST Maintenance aims to become the preferred local employer.

Future Plans

RST Maintenance LP has a goal of enhancing its spring, summer and fall services to both Residential clients along with our ongoing Commercial clients, Property Managers, Urban contracts, and other service contracts as the business moves forward.

RST Maintenance offers full scope property maintenance services including lawn care, daily litter pick, shrub bed weeding, weed spraying, fertilizer application, pre-built garden sheds, as well as spring and fall cleanups.

One of the key employees for RST Maintenance is Gord Kapeller, Manager, and has been with RST Maintenance since November 2022. Misty Ventures was looking for a “fit” and with his hands-on operational experience and understanding of the seasonality of the business Gord has been instrumental in the growth of the business.
