Misty Petroleum was created by Misty Ventures Inc.
Our grand opening for the Gas Station and Convenience Store took place on April 11th, 2016. We are happy to offer the sale of bulk fuel. Misty Petroleum also offers tax-free savings to any customer who presents a valid Status Card.
Misty Petroleum currently employs 14 people. This number fluctuates during our busy season of May – September.
Our Staff our trained in First Aid, WHIMS, and Safety Training, and have completed their Grade 12 Diploma. We set up our staff for success by encouraging them to try their best, believe in themselves, and give them opportunities to transfer to other positions within the company.
We are dedicated to all our staff by helping them to build work experience, and encouraging them to continue to work in order to pursue future jobs that are being created by Misty Ventures. Some of our staff will stay with us as a career, while others move on when the opportunity arrives, and we encourage them to so.
This company is the perfect place to build self-confidence, customer service skills, and self-sufficiency. It also allows for a chance to work close to our home community of Mistawasis, without having to relocate to an urban center. Misty Petroleum is always looking for new talent. If you think you would make a great addition to our team, please contact Carol Pechawis at manager@mistypetro.ca

Carol has been involved with Misty Petroleum/Misty Ventures since December 2015. She was previously employed as the Gift Shop Manager at Wanuskewin Heritage Park in Saskatoon and has also been employed at the City of Saskatoon, Government of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority.
She graduated High School in Meadow Lake then went to Prince Albert where she took the Business Administration Program.
She continued her schooling in Business Management in Saskatoon and then completed with the Accounting program at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies. She has also taken training with the Canadian Payroll Association.
After she completed her schooling her goal was to open a business in Saskatoon and so when the opportunity arose to help open a business with Misty Ventures she applied and was grateful to have received the job opportunity with Misty Petroleum.
It has been a great experience working with the people from Mistawasis First Nation and surrounding areas.
